Johnny Nixon
Senior Pastor
Johnny Nixon earned a Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been pastoring since 1976 and has been at Northport Baptist Church since 1996.

Steve Brown
Minister of Education/Administration
Steve earned a Master's of Religious Education from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He has held Conference leader positions at Glorietta and Ridgecrest. Steve joined us in 2008.

Jim Reid
Student Pastor
Jim Reid's responsibilities include youth from Grades 6 through 12 and college students. His Master of Religious Education degree is from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined us in 2006.

John Hinton
Minister of Music
Dr. Hinton is retired from his "real" job as assistant superintendent for personnel of the Tuscaloosa County School system. He's officially part-time, and he has served at NBC since 1965.
