Fantastic Friday: Birmingham Zoo
Join us for our day at the Birmingham Zoo! This will be for our Kindergarten-4th grade families (and siblings that want to come along as well!).
We'll buy the tickets and provide transportation on the church van if needed! All you have to worry about is your lunch!

NBC Basketball Camp 2026
Join us this summer for basketball camp! Here kids will learn fundamental basketball skills from basketball players and coaches, play against other kids their age in a tournament, and have a ton of fun!
When: July 20-23 (Monday-Thursday) from 9:00 am-Noon each day
Where: Northport Baptist Church (1004 Main Avenue, Northport, AL)
Cost: $30 per kid
Ages: Completed Kindergarten-5th Graders (during the 2025-2026 School Year)

Family Pool Night
VBS Family Night
Join us for a fun-filled evening at our annual VBS Family Night on Friday, June 5, from 6:30–8:30 PM at the University of Alabama Recreation Center Pool!
This special event is a great opportunity for families to celebrate an incredible week of Vacation Bible School while enjoying time together with friends from church. Come swim, laugh, and make lasting memories as we kick off the summer season.
🍕 Food and drinks will be provided.
🏊 The pool will be open for family swimming and fun.
🧺 Just bring your towel and we'll take care of the rest!
Whether your family participated in VBS or you're simply looking for a fun evening with your church family, we'd love for you to join us. This event is free and open to all NBC families.

Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School 2026 – Illumination Station
Get ready for an exciting week at Vacation Bible School 2026: Illumination Station – Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is! This high-energy, engaging experience is designed to help kids discover the truth about Jesus in a world full of confusion.
Throughout the week, kids will explore one powerful question: “Who do you say Jesus is?” Using John 8:12 as our foundation—“I am the light of the world…”—children will learn that Jesus is God’s promised, perfect, powerful, and proven Son, and that He is God’s plan for forgiveness.
Each day includes interactive Bible teaching, music, crafts, recreation, snacks, and missions, all built around a fun, light-themed environment filled with creativity and energy. From glowing visuals to engaging activities, every part of VBS is designed to point kids clearly to Jesus.
This is more than just a fun week—it’s an opportunity for kids to understand who Jesus truly is and how they can follow Him. We can’t wait to see your family at VBS this year!
VBS is for kids who have COMPLETED Kindergarten-6th Grade during the 2025-2026 School Year. Preschool Care is only available to church members who are volunteering.
