GriefShare is a caring and supportive 13-week class designed to help those who are navigating the pain of losing a loved one. Led by Chris Jones, this group provides biblical encouragement, practical tools, and a safe place to share and heal alongside others who understand.
Classes meet on Wednesdays from 5:45–7:00 PM, beginning January 8, in Room 424 at Northport Baptist Church. Workbooks are $15.
Whether your loss is recent or from years past, you don’t have to walk through grief alone. GriefShare offers hope, support, and the assurance that healing is possible.

A 7-Session Study by Jen Schmidt
Hospitality is one of the best ways to live out the two greatest commandments: loving God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself. But often we get caught up in perfecting our homes and conversations before we open our doors.
Over 7 sessions, look to Jesus as your model for hospitality. Discover how He lived a life full of interruptions, yet always welcomed people and invited them to follow Him. Learn to replace cultural expectations with biblical hospitality to create a legacy of invitation and reflect Jesus through simple acts of service.

Magnified- Student Spring Break Retreat
We’re heading back to the beach March 15–18 for our annual Student Retreat, and this year’s theme is Magnified, centered on Colossians 1:15–20.
Throughout the retreat, students will explore why we believe what we believe, how those beliefs should shape our everyday lives, and what it looks like to magnify Christ in all we do. This will be a meaningful time of worship, teaching, discussion, and community—creating space for students to grow deeper in their faith while enjoying time together at the beach.
Get ready for a powerful few days of fun, friendship, and focusing our lives on making much of Jesus.
Preteen Focus Retreat
Preteens are invited to join us for the Preteen Focus Retreat on March 21–22 at Camp Tuscoba. This overnight retreat is designed to help preteens step away from distractions and focus on their relationship with Jesus through worship, teaching, games, and meaningful time with friends and leaders.

The Last Supper
The Last Supper
Join us for The Last Supper on Sunday, March 29 at 6:00 PM for a meaningful and interactive evening as we walk through the meal Jesus shared with His disciples. During this experience, participants will taste elements of the meal and learn the rich symbolism behind them, helping bring Scripture to life in a powerful way.
This will be a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Passover meal and the significance of the night before the cross.

Easter Egg Hunt
Families are invited to join us for our Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt on April 3 at 6:00 PM at Northport Baptist Church. This fun, family-friendly event is designed especially for preschool and elementary-age children, with separate hunting areas to make sure everyone has a great experience. The egg hunt will begin promptly at 6:15 PM, so be sure to arrive on time!
In addition to the egg hunt, families can enjoy inflatables, food, games, and face painting, making it a great evening of fun and fellowship for kids and parents alike.
This event is completely FREE, and all children in these age groups are welcome to attend. Bring your friends and neighbors and come celebrate the season with us at NBC!
Easter
Easter Season at Northport Baptist Church
Join us as we celebrate the hope, meaning, and victory of Easter through several special events designed for the whole family. From experiencing the Passover meal, to family fun on Good Friday, to worship centered on the cross and the resurrection, we invite you to walk through the Easter season with us.
The Last Supper Experience (Seder Meal)
March 29 | 6:00 PM
Join us for a unique and meaningful evening as we experience the Passover meal with deeper understanding and biblical context. This interactive event will walk participants through the symbolism of the meal and how it points directly to Jesus and the Last Supper.
This is not a typical dinner—it is a guided experience that brings the story of redemption to life in a powerful way.
Cost: $5 per participant

Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt
April 3 | 6:00 PM
Bring your kids and invite their friends for a fun evening at our Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt! The event is designed for children from Birth through 4th Grade and will include plenty of excitement for the whole family.

Good Friday Worship Service
April 3 | 7:00 PM
Join us for a special Good Friday worship service as we reflect on the sacrifice of Jesus and the road to the cross. Through worship, scripture, and reflection, we will focus on the significance of Christ’s death and the hope it brings to the world.
The service will conclude with the Lord’s Supper.
Childcare available for Birth–4 years old.

Family Night at UA Baseball Game
Join us as we enjoy en evening at the ballpark together! We will be watching the Friday Night game of the Alabama vs Arkansas series at 6:00 pm!
This is for our Kindergarten-6th Grade Families. Please note that we will only have 50 Tickets for this event. Once those are gone, we will not be able to add any more.

Join us by registering ahead of time and take advantage of a no stress way to feed you and your family before Wednesday Night Classes and group meetings.
Each Wednesday from 5:00-6:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Missions On The Green
Join us for a fun and impactful day on the course at the Ol’ Colony Golf Complex in Tuscaloosa, AL, as we host a Golf Tournament benefiting our Student Mission Trip to Ecuador on Thursday, May 21. Lunch and registration begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a shotgun start at 1:00 PM.
All proceeds from this tournament will help send our students to Montañita, Ecuador, where they will serve alongside Pate Ministries, working with children and sharing the love of Christ along the coast.
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or simply want to support student missions, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a great course, build community, and make an eternal impact. Come play, invite a team, or partner as a sponsor to help our students take the gospel to Ecuador.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering – Supporting Missionaries Around the World
Each year, Northport Baptist Church participates in the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, a special giving emphasis that directly supports Southern Baptist missionaries serving through the International Mission Board (IMB).
Every penny given goes straight to the mission field—providing resources, training, and support for missionaries who are sharing the gospel, planting churches, and meeting physical and spiritual needs among unreached peoples.
This offering is one of the primary ways we partner in taking the good news of Jesus to the nations. Your generosity helps send and sustain missionaries in places where the gospel is rarely heard.
We invite you to pray, give, and join us in supporting this vital work as we help carry the message of Christ to the ends of the earth.
